Dr. Jürgen Schumacher has extensive expertise in the biotech industry. He made his first start-up experiences in 1984 with the company Qiagen, which successfully went public in 1996. This was followed by other biotech companies in which he acted as co-founder, such as NewLab, BiBiTech and Algiax Pharmaceuticals. With over 35 years of experience, he also invests in promising biotech business models as a business angel and advises them in the role of shareholder or advisory board.
