Vera Mehler has a scientific background in regenerative medicine and stem cell therapy and focuses on the life science companies at coparion. For her postgraduate studies on induced-pluripotent stem cells, she went to London, a city where scientific discovery meets economic understanding. Inspired by that, she decided to take on a new challenge as a scientist turned investment professional in the venture capital world. Back in Cologne, she enjoys working with entrepreneurs who bring innovative therapies and medicinal products from “bench to bedside”, making a difference for patients.
In her spare time, she loves swinging a racket on a clay or grass court, preferably hitting some aces.
