Rafael Hautumm is enthusiastic about people with extraordinary passion, dedication and persistence; be it in politics, sports or entrepreneurship. Besides innovative business models, he considers “founders who completely sacrifice themselves for their idea” to be a decisive element of success. After starting out in asset management, he dedicated himself to the start-up scene in Berlin and was also active in strategy consulting and banking. Rafael then decided to pursue his passion for investment and entrepreneurship and thus, began working in the investment team at coparion.

Privately, he draws energy from various ball and water sports, eventful travels and a good coffee.
